Refund policy
Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
Damage during transit
We cannot exchange items that were damaged during transit. We also cannot issue refunds on items damaged during transit via courier either from the supplier to Green Monkey Collectibles (Pty) Ltd, or from Green Monkey Collectibles (Pty) Ltd to you. If pre-ordered items are damaged in any major way – we will communicate this to you.
NB: The only way to get a refund from the courier due to damages, lost packages and hijacked delivery vehicles/stolen goods, is to choose to take insurance on your order. This will ensure that in the event of a stolen or lost goods, you will be fully reimbursed for the value of your order.
Please note: Funko and other items may reach us from the supplier with minor defects and issues with the box, which includes but not limited to:
Shelf Wear
Corner Damage
Minor Tears
Minor Creases
Window Scratches/Damage
These issues will not be subject to a discount as we cannot control the stock that we get from the supplier.
Pre-order deposit
Your pre-order deposit is non-refundable. Should you decide not to take the item that you pre-ordered, your pre-order deposit will not be refunded.
If the preceding case does not apply to you:
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
Additional non-returnable items:
- Gift cards
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted: (if applicable)
- Boxes that have been opened.
- Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
- Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery
Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.
Exchanges
We will try to honour exchanges if there is stock on hand. However, due to the nature of pre-orders, it may be unlikely that there are extras of the exact item that you ordered and want to exchange. In this case, we will issue a refund.

Shipping
To return your product, you should mail your product to: 1 Sylvia Street Richwood, Cape Town, WC, 7447, South Africa
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
If you are shipping an item over R1000, you should consider purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
